GEOskop No. 9/2002 reported on a new software programme to help dyslexics: “When the eye slips”. We have been using the “celeco” software programme presented in GEO with great success for three months now. For four years we had previously practised reading daily with our son, who is now ten and a half years old. Unfortunately without any significant success. Ever since he was diagnosed with a reading disorder, he had been undergoing dyslexia therapy. Only a new, highly qualified German teacher recognised the exact cause and recommended the programme to us. In our opinion, “celeco” is an excellent reading learning programme that will certainly help many more children – and adults – to learn to read not only confidently but also quickly.
